Allows the use of the ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusiks on a single rope:
- permanent additional braking action when descending, thanks to the two rubbing axes with the addition of friction,
- used with an Am'D or OK carabiner (not supplied). The H-shaped profile of the carabiner, combined with the positioning ring of the mechanical Prusik, guarantees excellent tightness of the whole, CHICANE and mechanical Prusik, ensuring the fluid sliding of the rope in the ascending brake,
- ergonomic handle that facilitates movement when returning towards the trunk.
Ease of installation:
- opening flange that allows for simple and quick installation on the rope,
- triple action unlocking to reduce the risk of involuntary opening of the flange,
- connects to the upper hole of the mechanical Prusik.
Optimized resistance, thanks to the two rubbing axes, available as spare parts.
CHICANE allows you to work in compliance with the ANSI Z133 standard.
